In celebration of the newest luxury residential area in South Maui, the Hokulani Golf Villas hosted an owner’s party at the community pool on Thursday as a way to get to know the neighbors and allow residents to meet the residential sales team.
The weather was not very Maui-like the few days prior to the party, with lots of heavy rain and storms, but the weather cleared up for the poolside event just in time for a typically gorgeous Maui sunset over the water. With around fifty people in attendance, the party was well received and made even better by live music, great food and great people that make up the Maui way of life.
While Stella Blues provided delicious food, live music was provided by Tom Conway, who previously taught Maui native Lukas Nelson (Willie Nelson’s son) how to play guitar and recently returned from touring with Willie and Lily Meola, another local Maui musician, who sang on Willie’s most recent LP. Tom works out of Bounty Music in Kahului and often plays at Monkey Pod in Wailea and Fleetwood’s on Front Street in Lahaina. Highly recommended if you’re looking for live music on Maui!
Dano Sayles, one of Maui’s most premiere real estate agents with 30 years of experience, was there to welcome everyone and answer any questions that came up. Others in attendance included Jim Doran, whose family owns Exclusively Yours and Ceramic Tile Plus and have been proud owners at Hokulani since the beginning. They even have a Hokulani kitchen on display in their showroom! Another guest was Bud Wagner, a developer at Wailea Point, who chose to give up his unit there and move to Hokulani Golf Villas instead.
With the success of the first owner’s party, residents may be able to expect more events like this in the future. Congratulations to the Dano Sayles team and Hokulani owners for giving residents such a warm welcome! If you’re interested in touring the homes, please contact Dano Sayles directly at 808.870.4899.
