diving oheo gulchIt’s finally possible to drive to Hana and fly back or vice versa!  This is incredibly exciting because there are many people that don’t have the time to spend doing the entire loop, those that want to spend extra time at spots along the Road to Hana without driving back in the dark, visitors with children or passengers prone to car sickness that can’t handle a full drive, and guests that want to experience the best of both worlds.

We flew to and from Hana not too long ago and were shocked at all the hidden, massive waterfalls that spill from seacliffs into the ocean.  The flight was breathtaking and we loved it.  But we also love driving through the rainforests and making stops at our favorite sites.  Well, now you can do both thanks to a recent partnership between Travaasa Hotel Hana and Enterprise.  Call 1-888-225-8230 for more information on this great deal.  You don’t have to be a guest of the hotel to take advantage of this opportunity, but it’s not a bad idea to spend a few nights in Hana as well!

Choose between a Chevy Malibu and a Jeep Wrangler and enjoy the road to Hana in style!  Flights leave between Hana Airport and Kahului Airport twice daily.  Keep in mind that the Kahului commuter terminal is to the far left of the Airport, just left of the car rental stalls and the arrivals.  You’ll see a separate building with a parking lot.  It’s probably the easiest airport location to leave from since it’s very quiet and security is a breeze.  Hana Airport is very similar. You can also take a Hana tour, which allows you to sit back and let someone else do the driving!
